In HYPOTHESIS Happy Collaborationists provided a testing ground for artists. We invited artists to create works that directly responded to the parameters of our exhibition space and encouraged artists to consider these shows as experiments, explore new materials and methods outside of their traditional practices. In our equation the exhibition the space equaled the constant and the artist equaled the variable which combined and created the final result, an exhibition that had the opportunity to either fail or succeed. Participating artists included: Industry of the Ordinary, Dayton Castleman, Garage Spaces, Kelly Kaczynski and a special event presented by the Happy Collaborationists.  (Spring 2011)

In the spring of 2011 Happy Collaborationists partnered with ACRE artists residency and selected 5 of ACRE's 2010 resident artists to show. Participating artists included: Erik Perterson, Alexander Stewart, Mara Baker, Elspeth Vance and Myranda Gillies.

In COTILLION Happy Collaborationists selected 5 emerging artists for solo shows to address the idea of "coming out" artistically. These works documented young artists making early formal presentations of their work to the public and finding an artistic voice. Participating artists included: EJ Hill, Nina Myer, Andy Burkholder, Aurstin Knierim, Jesus Mejia and Isobel Shirley. Also featured was The Devils Barnyard, a special spring time event coordinated by Kevin Cassidy with works by Chris Kerr and Jim Zimpel.

HERMANO was Happy Collaborationists' first curated series.  It explored notions of fraternity through pairings of artists selected based on the strong collaborative bonds noted throughout their work and real life relationships. Participating artists included: Tannar Veatch & KAREN, Peter Skvara & Theodore Boggs, Paul Cowan & Scott Cowan, Being Beings, and Industry of the Ordinary.
